The George Inn is a charming 17th-century village pub located in Abbots Leigh, just two miles from Clifton Village and a short trip over the suspension bridge. We offer a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and a selection of quality drinks.

Enjoy our beautiful garden during sunny days or relax by the cosy wood burners in winter. Our freshly prepared dishes are made with locally sourced ingredients. Dogs are always welcome!

National Trust - Leigh Woods

A popular wood near Bristol with a mix of trees and open areas. It has many woods, clearings, and sunny paths that support a variety of wildlife and plants, including Bristol rock cress and Bristol onion. There are great views of the Avon Gorge. The walk starts at a car park, accessed through a path lined with copper beech trees planted for the Queen’s Coronation in 1953.
